Though Beth has considered herself a ‘Rotarian at heart’ since she attended her first Rotary service project as a youth, she is proud to finally be an official Rotarian as of March 1, 2019 with the chartering of The Rotary Club of the Northern Shenandoah Valley.  As President Elect and charter member of this cutting edge new club, she eagerly anticipates making a larger impact locally and globally through partnering with fellow Rotarians. Learn more about the Rotary Club of the Northern Shenandoah Valley on our facebook page above.

Current joint WHAT MATTERS/Rotary projects include sponsoring an American Red Cross blood drive every two months and Beth’s leadership in many areas of this newly formed and fast-growing club. She’s also visited international Rotarian service projects in Uganda (read about one here: https://royalexaminer.com/beth-medved-waller-joins-rotary-international-and-visits-rotary-clubs-and-service-projects-in-uganda/) and is in the planning stages for a Collaborative Rotary International District Grant to benefit children in need in Africa.  In addition, she has several partnership initiatives planned for 2020 including bringing the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program back to her hometown and establishing reading initiatives at the Front Royal Light Up Academy in Uganda. Partnering with Rotary will enhance the WHAT MATTERS reach and contribute to the success of her fundraising ideas that include “Rotary Fast” and Dollar Dream Download.
